IBPS finally published the score of CWE (Common Written Examination) for Clerk III exam. Average cut off for ‘General’ is 105 which means if you have scored more than 105 be sure to attend the interview. Cut off is applied on two stages; one is applied to individual sections and other one is applied to the total marks.
Yesterday IBPS issued a notice mentioning the tentative dates for further proceedings. Shortlisted candidates can download the call letter for the interview after 25th January. First interview will begin on 10th February and will go on.
You may see different cut off marks in IBPS CWE CWE Clerks-III 2013 based on states and union territories you have applied for.
Here are some of the cut off scores for this year General category-
West Bengal cut off 105 for General
Rajastan cut off 98 for General
Himachal Pradesh cut off 98 for General
Madhya Pradesh cut off 107 for General
Odisha cut off 110 for General
Uttar Pradesh 101 cut off for General
Delhi 99 cut off for General
Uttarakhand 104 cut off for General

It’s difficult to say whether he/she will be finally called in or not but he/she will be attending the interview for sure. Interview has 100 marks and normally candidates score anything between 30-90.

I. Process for Arriving at Scores
The Scores are obtained by adopting the following procedure:
(i)Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong answers.
(ii)The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any , in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores*
* Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
(iii) Final scores in each test are rounded off to the nearest integer
